This practice is one that comes from the Hindu philosophy of the Chidakasha. This is often translated as meaning “sky of the heart” or “inner sky”. This philosophy describes using a method like this to reach the highest form of detachment, which is to be close to everything, loving deeply, caring fully, while staying rooted in yourself. You can be present without being consumed.
